I am officially in mourning. For much of this evening, I have been Googling my fingers to a pulp looking for a very specific replacement for something that means very much to me. I really don’t know how I’m going to go on dressing without my Calvin Klein 365 bra. I have two of them in buff. They both developed holes in them while I was in England, and while I’m sparsely endowed, this has become a jiggling problem.
I realize this is an over share, but I am so singularly obsessed with finding one of these undergarments that I am willing to push the bounds of propriety. I cannot imagine getting dressed without this perfect assemblage of breathable fabric that totally disappears under anything. It doesn’t bind, twist, poke or cause unsightly back fat.
It might also be that the day that I bought them both, on the inaugural mission for one of them no less, I ended up having dinner one table away from Justin Timberlake. THE Justin Timberlake actually saw me wearing this Calvin Klein bra.
Well, he didn’t SEE the bra, but I had it on.
And, I know he looked at me. He couldn’t help it because I was actually staring at him open mouthed for much of my meal, something that couldn’t have been very fetching given that I was also eating at the time. When I remembered.
So, the combination of this bra’s amazing qualities and being sort of blessed by Justin Timberlake makes it a tragedy that Calvin Klein no longer makes it. Even though it is the plainest, most homely, utterly unsexy undergarment I’ve ever owned, I always stand a little taller with it on.
So, if anyone has any leads on one Calvin Klein 365 Cotton Seamless Bralette in buff size medium, send them my way. I’m just desperate enough to make a brazen, perverse and very public plea.

Um, not quite sure how to respond to this one. I would love to offere some “support”, but I am afraid I should keep my hands off. But, hey, I am glad you could get this need off your chest!

As someone who gets totally addicted to certain products, I understand exactly what you mean. I’ve been prone to order out of date hair products and skin creams from online drugstores. The last product I tried to purchase this way led down 3 blind alleys. I never got the products (cause they didn’t have them despite advertising them) and had to go after refunds. I wish you well on this! Ebay is usually a good source for clothing…
Isn’t it funny how we form these attachments? And how much more quickly makers of products seem to change them and phase them out these days? Thanks for the E-Bay suggestion. I did actually find one there, but in size small. I’ll keep looking.
Ok, I’m still laughing at the JT picture you posted to accompany this post… all I can hear is the song that goes with it. As for a replacement, all I can say is: eBay. Look for new ones still out there. While I really hate eBay, I’ve gotten some out-of-stock stuff that’s new on there…give it a shot. Or just use MTM. 😉

I actually wanted to post that video on the blog to accompany this post, but MTM really wanted the Dita von Teese Perrier ad, which on the surface, has nothing whatsoever to do with this post. I feared offending people on both counts and settled for the photo.
A – try calling the “undergarment stores” at our 2 Tangier locations – I have seen CK products in those stores. If you find one, I’ll be happy to go pick it up for you.

I must say that Michael has had the best response thus far. LOL. I am sorry that you are suffering through the separation anxiety of losing the proper support you are looking for. I believe you have taken the idea of being open and transparent to a new level. LOL. I hope you find the support you need and want very soon. 🙂
Well, it was worth a try to find a replacement. Maybe someone will have a lead for me in the coming days. 🙂
