Instagram Is Killing Me
One of the most amazing things about the app Instagram (only available for iPhone and iPad, for you suckers who have not come over to the happy side): it is so much like Twitter was when I first got on it in 2008. People are interesting. They are there to post photos with entertaining captions. And, they acknowledge your comments.
So.
I found this person in Japan on Instagram. Their ENTIRE stream is Boston Terriers. Emmr on Instagram is the best dog master or mistress on Earth, because he or she posts pictures of two Bostons that remind me so much of my deceased Jazzmine I sometimes cry. It is like my Jazz has been reincarnated on the other side of the world.
I do not want to represent that missing my dead dog is the only reason I visit Instagram multiple times a day. But, it is a key reason. I’ve found at least fourteen other places on this globe I want to visit, but nothing eclipses how much those dog photos make my day.

I like Instagram because it’s so easy to get something out on FB or Twitter or even email and you can make a neat caption or comment. It’s easy and fairly quick and if you want to take a lot of shots before sending into cyber space, you can just use the regular camera on the iThingy and they will all show up on your camera roll in Instagram.
Glad you get a chance to see the pics from Japan since they give you joy, although I thought the guy was sending out a million shots a day and overloading your iThingy….does is really get heavier with lots of Instagram pics on it?!
I offload my photos periodically and save them in iPhoto on my desktop so they can be backed up. I like photos too much to lose a bunch if I misplace my phone.
I am glad you enjoy the app, too.
Good morning Andra and Lou
In June we are thinking about my getting the iPad2 and the iPad1 that I now have will be given to Katy for her use. Katy loves being able to use it to go grocery shopping. Katy uses Say MMM on it and can check things off of each menu item as she puts the grocery item in her basket. The manager of Save A Lot came over to Katy and mentioned how amazed he was to see a customer using the iPad for something useful. LOL
I love to take pictures of this and that so when I get the iPad2 I will be able to use Instagram to upload all of the amazing photos that I will be able to take. I went to the Apple store downtown the other day and looked at one of the new iPad2′s and I can tell that it does seem to be a bit lighter than the one I have.
As for pets, I am sorry for the loss of Jasmine. Our pets get close to our hearts and they are like family. They give us countless hours of companionship and joy. Andra, do you have a dog or cat now? I can not seem to remember.
Hugs
We have not replaced Jazz. She died several years ago, and our lives are structured enough for a pet right now.
You will LOVE the iPad 2 James. I sleep with mine next to me every night.
I used a little duct tape and wrote the number 2 on it and taped it to my iThingy…, I call it the incredible shrinking iPad2
