A Coda for my Architect
MTM was on the news the other night, talking about his role in the Gaillard Municipal Auditorium project. How do I capture his real life voice? Follow the link below to view the story.

I am proud of MTM’s involvement in this transformation of a city block.

How very cool — That building is enormous, by the way!
I watched the other night and was happy to have a voice to put with that face and personality.
Will definitely want to come back to Chas. to see the transformation! The model alone is awesome.
His passion for his subject really comes across, Andra: what a great article! Go MTM!!
If only people could pronounce his last name correctly. Every time this happens, I thank my lucky stars I kept my last name. Two unpronounceable names is too much.
Andrea, I actually wondered about that. I had a moment of fear that I had been pronouncing his name wrong. But then I realized that I had learned the pronunciation from you. So I guess not. Now if you would just learn to pronounce your first name correctly!
He sounds exactly like I thought he would sound. Awesome! Proud.
I thought it would be cool for people who’ve never met him to hear him.
I heard it was a Charlie McCarthy look alike actually speaking.
Ha. Ha.
My kids almost jumped up and down when they saw him. Tina was like, “I was at his house today!” Very impressed by the famous MTM.
How exciting!
How do you pronounce his name?
I pronounce it em-tee-em.
I’m going to see my Ma. Her pie is something.
Emphasis on both syllables.
Ma ~ Her. Exactly what I thought.
Thanks, Andra.
The more Andra ignores me the more I shall go back and comment on every single post.
