The Blue Room
A quick follow up to my No. 6 Tinkle post earlier today. Several readers have asked to see the finished full bath MTM remodeled from a half bath. Here it is, from the perspective of the throne.
Confused? Go back and read the initial post here.

Oh yeah, I remember the Cyber Ninja (Geezer Carnell) doing strange finger paintings in there.
I don’t think we ever let Carnell into that bathroom………..
And even if I were, why would Lou have been in there with me doing finger paintings? I think Lou is dreaming about me again…
Lou was in there doing finger paintings.
Lovely work, and apparently within a verrrry compact space, too. The “throne” is where in relation to the entry to the room? Thinking passing space must have been at a premium.
Really like that the blue was carried up onto the ceiling!
It was a very small room. We sacrificed a large sink to get the toilet and shower in there together. The sink and shower shared a water line, and a knob flipped the water between the two. It was a really cool bathroom. (And, it took more than a year to be completely done.)
Was this at your old house? Neat! Oh and hi….sorry I’ve been “gone” awhile….
Hey, Liz. It was at our old house. Upstairs. I know things have been booming for you, and that’s great. Good to see you.
Good to see you, too. WordPress made me log in again – wonder why?
I’ve given up trying to figure it out. They’re not helpful, and they’re obviously happy with the changes they’ve made. For the most part, it works fine unless I am on my iPad.
Artistically done! I’m impressed that MTM managed to get that all in there.
He’s a great architect.
I am really impressed with such efficient use of compact space! It appears to be very modern and quite nice. I think a year is a long time, yes, but it appears to have been worth the wait. Love the blue and white! Funny how we all wanted a picture, but I really did. Thank you for obliging! Debra
It really worked well. We got to enjoy it for several years before we sold it. Never had any problems in there. Hope you will tell your story soon.
I am very impressed. Job well done.
He is impressive, isn’t he?
That is absolutely beautiful! Love it! Well done MTM!
Lori, it was worth the wait.
Great sink… nice use of space… or lack of space…
Doing this series, we actually found the pictures of the bathroom sink that inspired it. Yes, we travel and take photos of fixtures in public bathrooms. We are SICK PEOPLE.
cool, love the sink lol
