Very interesting post, Andra. Fun to learn a bit about how the people in your head come to life. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and MTM, too!
Hope you and Kim had a lovely day, Karen.
Thanks Andra, I’ll pass it on to my writers.
Many thanks, Cate.
It’s certainly food for thought. I’ve never written a novel, but my feeling is that the greats (such as Dickens, Shakespeare, etc ) created vast landscapes littered with so many characters, good and bad, that it is hard to imagine that each of these characters was not created with a clear purpose. I think this is why I haven’t written a novel – it’s too fucking difficult.
It is difficult, Roger. The hardest thing, for me, is trying to design the perfect house for a client I don’t know, to use an architectural analogy. I hope I’ve done it right this time.
Thanks, Andra. Hope you and MTM had a LOVE-ly day.
I hope you and BFF did as well, Nancy.
Cool deal! More blogs to explore – and site owners to torture.
Haha.
What an interesting article, Andra. I enjoyed hearing more about how you tick!
