Because You Want to F*** Someone With Words…..

Admit it. You want to be that person. Like in the movie The Legend of Zorro? When Antonio Banderas met Catherine Zeta-Jones for the first time? He made her clothes fall off with his, ahem, blade.

He made her clothes fall off with his, ahem, blade.

And that’s kind of how love poetry works. I feel like I need an arsenal of it for MTM, because he deserves more tributes than a continent of husbands knitted together.

I’ll admit it. I’m a sucky poet. Sometimes I quote Shakespeare. Or Song of Solomon (a book of the Bible that’s quite erotic and very dirty.)

Or, in the coming days, Pamela Beckford’s Love – Lost and Found.

I read Pamela’s poems every time she posts, and I’m honored to mention them here. She didn’t ask me to do it, and my opinions are completely uncompensated, totally my own. Often, I find things in her words and wish I’d written them to my beloved. Her poetry is lovely.

You can purchase Pamela’s latest poetry anthology Love – Lost and Found on Amazon by clicking here: I’m Horny for Poetry, Baby!

Because you never know when you’ll need a set of mesmerizing words.

Wink.

  1. I’m horny for poetry? I like that title!

  2. Is it hot in here?

  3. Okay, ouch.

  4. Words can be so…(ahem) inspiring. Nabakov’s “Ada or Ardor” has some intoxicating passages. One of my favorites takes place at a dinner table, no shenanigans, just words, perfect words. ]

  5. Hmmmm, maybe I should try words…I just let my body do the talking…when I was younger it didn’t have to say much…now… 😉

  6. There’s always room in life for love poetry, I’m sure. Thanks for the reminder! *wink*

  7. Isn’t that how Cyrano does his wooing? I have always been attracted to men who use words cleverly. Hence, Phil.
