Korean Readers Make Memories

Open inbox. Find Korean reader love.

I don’t share these to toot my horn, but I’m gobsmacked at how a story about Dad and me morphed into a universal challenge to make memories.

Read Won’s message below.

Hi my name is WON DAERO. I’m Korean. I read your book well. Thank you for making such a good book.
After reading your book, I decided I should take a trip with my elderly father. My father says his dream is to ride a horse in Mongolia’s wide plains. I don’t know how to ride a horse. I express my sincere respect for your courage.

Korean

Won is determined to learn to ride. He wants to make this memory with his dad. Isn’t that astounding?? Stories are powerful. Life-altering. Necessary.

Haven’t experienced the life-altering message of my NYT bestselling memoir Not Without My Father?
