Hi, thank you for your visit. I see you’ve been loging a while- I’m still a rookie and looking to earn my spurs. Wow-Loretta Lynn. Despite many hours over many years researching my family tree, I have yet to discover a claim to fame or a golden ticket. Some interesting stuff though.

Cootchie or coochie is a slang word for a woman’s lady bits. Because I revealed mine accidentally when I was riding my bicycle in a dress, it became the name of the blog.

I love how you depict yourself as the wide-eyed ingénue constantly shocked — SHOCKED — by the off-the-wall behavior of those all around you, only to toss off the perfect slightly, or more than slightly, off-color double entendre that reveals the keen observer with a gift for a well-turned phrase.
I like to come here, click around a bit, read a random post from the many out there, get lost for a few minutes or more…then get back to the rest of the day.
Great writing; great stories; LOVE the role that MTM plays as foil, partner, inspiration, friend, idea-bouncee, long-suffering-but-loving-the-whole-darned-ride guy.

Andra, Thank you for liking my blog. I was fortunate to see Loretta Lynn in person, when she appeared in concert with Ernest Tubb many years ago. I bought one of her record albums and she autographed it and I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world, when I got to see her up close. Loretta was a very gracious lady and I can see your resemblance to Loretta and her sister Crystal Gayle.
Andrew, I’ve only met one of her brothers. Not her. Thanks for sharing this story with me.
