Launch a book. Fall off the face of the earth. Not the best combo, right?
Yeah, my sales figures shriek hourly about what a bad idea that was. The flatline is real, people.
Here’s what I’ve been up to:
I appeared on the most excellent podcast Historium Unearthia, talking about my fave villain, General James Wilkinson. Listen HERE:

I moved my 91-year-old aunt from south Florida to Charleston. Here she is charming everyone on the flight from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta:
Just in time for the holidays! Get your DAD IS WELL HUNG – the 2018 ornament.WANT TO SEE IT? Message me with your mailing address, and Dad’s bulldog face will adorn your 2018 tree!
I’m begging poor MTM not to divorce me. I HAD NO IDEA HOW MUCH GOES INTO ELDERCARE. Other than MTM, I get ZERO help from anyone with Aunt Lillian. Between navigating the fine print of insurance, dealing with her meltdowns, processing how much her caregivers expect me to do, paying her bills, cleaning out her FL house, getting rid of her stuff, managing her money, and deflecting predators, nothing else gets done. Wah-wah-wah. I know. Nobody here cares, either. But it feels good to put my whining someplace.

Weeeeeeeee, I’m excited to read 13! God bless you for taking care of an elderly aunt. The elderly need more people in their lives like you. Glad to hear dad is still kicking as usual. Have a great holiday, Andra!
Ah, life…it does go on.
Too much for me right now. Ha.
I have no clue how you do it all Andra. You are like the energizer bunny.
I don’t know how, either. Other than I’ve always been the person who had to grow another pair of shoulders and deal.
I don’t know one person here who doesn’t care, but alas, we do not know how to help except to purchase your book (because, after all, you’re awesome) and support you with loving verbiage. However, if there’s anything else – please call on me. Please.
Everyone is busy/slammed/stressed/etc. I think I’m dreading the coming days of “please please please leave reviews” etc and hearing how much nobody has read. It’s easier to blame this book’s truly paltry sales on Aunt L than it is to stare down how hard it is to get anyone to care.
and what an amazing job of juggling all of these major things at the same time. please give yourself a bit of time to just care for yourself. hugs
Yoga every day! It works.
