I Am Number 13 Is in BETA!

I Am Number 13 is in BETA! Can eighteen-year-old Emmaline Cagney recover from the sudden death of her beloved father? Will she survive the reappearance of her nemesis, General James Wilkinson? Especially when he ushers in the one person she never thought she'd see again: HER MOTHER.

I’m determined to make 13 lucky. After months of hard drugs and illness, more months of writing with a scrambled brain, and even more months of speaking  to pay the bills,

I AM NUMBER 13 IS FINALLY IN BETA!

I spent two weeks at home revising and rewriting after my editor finished with her red pen. A lot of red, people. A LOT.

But before my book baby can be born, my beta reader has to give me more feedback. I’ll make more changes once I get her notes. Advance review copies will be available shortly thereafter.

Get ready to read!

Can eighteen-year-old Emmaline Cagney recover from the sudden death of her beloved father? Will she survive the reappearance of her nemesis, General James Wilkinson? Especially when he ushers in the one person she never thought she’d see again: HER MOTHER.

Set against the backdrop of the Iran Contra Affair, I Am Number 13 takes readers on an adventure through the Honduran jungles, where Em volunteers with refugees to process her grief. But in one afternoon, she discovers everything she thinks she knew about herself is a lie. With Wilkinson closing in, will she unravel her past and find the key to vanquishing Wilkinson? Will he consume her first? Or will he lead Em to her madam mother to be enslaved once more?

Many layers. A few surprises. I hope you’ll love it! (Cover image is also beta. Final cover to be revealed close to publication.)

Your headings do show the value of italics or inverted commas or both! 🙂
