Whew. I haven’t updated my website in quite a while. Subscribers may not know what I’ve been up to. Here are all the details.
First the bad news
In 2022, an agent approached me about writing a memoir that combined my upbringing in Christian Nationalism with the impact of a narcissist mom. He tried to sell that memoir last year but was unsuccessful. Basically the message I got from trad publishers was “you’re a very talented writer and NYT bestselling author, but you still haven’t sold enough books…”
Thankfully, I only wrote a book proposal. I didn’t pen a whole book.
Left adrift, I picked up Project 2025 and started reading it last September
Project 2025 is a 920-page Christo-fascist manifesto compiled by The Heritage Foundation and over 100 far-right partners. The mainstream media was covering it as a wonk-ish policy document. As I read, I found disguised Bible verses and Christian Nationalist dogma nobody was covering.
In February, I launched my Substack “How Project 2025 Will Ruin YOUR Life.” You can subscribe to my Substack and support my work financially by clicking the link in the previous sentence or by clicking on the picture below.

This week, I appeared on Rick Wilson’s podcast “The Enemies List.” Rick is one of the founders of the Lincoln Project.

Much like I never imagined writing a memoir, I never planned for my work to veer in this direction.
But I’m happy. I’m using my Christian Nationalist religious indoctrination to warn Americans about Christo-fascist threats without reliving my personal trauma and experiences publicly. Someone reached out last week and told me this is the best work I’ve done. I agree.
I hope you’ll support me.
